Dreams of shows

I dreamed my wife and I took a bunch of other people to see the Shanghai circus we went to last week..

Unlike the real one, which was very good, this seemed more like amateur auditions or one of those “got talent” shows where folks who didn’t normally do these things were trying to make it big.
My wife and I were seated in a high backed love seat up at the very front and it was clear that the people doing the show were playing to us alone.
One guy doing magic tricks turned our seat so the others couldn’t see what he was doing. I realized because if you weren’t seeing him from the right angle, his trick didn’t work.
Once he did that, the other performers gave up even trying to play to the rest of the theater and only concentrated on us.
It got to the point where I pushed our seat away from them and said “these other people want to see the show too!”
