Not a park, sad

As I’ve complained about, in the last few months they’ve bulldozed the nice old house and wooded lot near where we live.


I’ve been quite worried it would be the town’s third Dunkin Donut’s or yet another burger place or something like that.
I keep saying “maybe the town bought it to make a park”, but I knew the odds are better I win the lottery’s big jackpot.

Last week they put up a sign saying it is going to be a credit union.


I would have liked a park. That lot gets a great view of the valley.
But, a credit union is better than the alternatives.

hrmf. Considering the huge space that's become available across the street at the former Borders. Oh well.

I wonder if the sign co I used to work for is involved in the design-build and signage for the project. Not that I really care though.

But yes, I agree, that anything is better than yet another Dunk.

it was probably more cost-effective to build from scratch at this location, then to remodel the borders building. Plus, borders closing was fairly recent. We don't know how long this credit union site has been in the planning stages.
