Visiting babies

This morning we set off to visit Tom, Brett and their new baby.
We had planned to stop and get some meat pies at that place we visited a couple of months ago.
But, they are closed on Sunday.
So, we went to our fall back.

I thought this was funny.

Then, off to NH where Tom and family lives.

We soon were at the Purple House of New Hampshire.

As predicted, the baby was quickly passed to the visitors. I was able to get away with a “oh no thanks”, but not my wife.

I stuck to offering the aloe based drink I got at the market.

(Strangely pulpy and not really outstanding.)
We assured Tom his baby was the cutest ever. Just like every other baby out there.

Tom seemed happy with that.

Other folks also showed up to hold the baby.

The cats were very insistent at reminding people that babies are not the only things that like attention.

But, we mostly sat around, ate and talked.

Then, after the sun went down, we headed home.

It was a nice visit. We haven’t seen Tom in a while. He assures us he will be doing Gulf Coast in a few months. That would be nice.
