The good, part 1

There was so much good this weekend that it is going to take several posts to break it down.
So, I’ll start with our friends.

As I said to someone a month or so ago: the real purpose of this faire was to bring together as many of our friends as possible to have a really good time.
There is no doubt that by that yard stick, this weekend was a brilliant success.

Our friends helped out to a degree I had not even dared to hope for. And, I can’t lie, we really, really needed it. If they hadn’t been there, I’m not sure it would have held together.

It was really good to have our friends there. New friends, old friends, well known friends, and hardly known friends.

To all of you who were there, and especially those who pitched in to help, thank you very, very much. Your sharing this with us is what makes it worth it for me.

Honestly it was a pleasure. I am proud to be a part of the troupe and to be considered a friend of yours. I was happy to bring a bunch of my friends from CRO as I am sure the Schmaltzes and Devin were. I hope we made you just as proud, and I hope we do this again.

well, we had a blast watching you guys fight and breathe fire. eating brownies for lunch is always fun. though i've heard Mark and Ehrich play before, i'd never actually gotten to hear the 'Vagabonds' and that was very cool. even getting bodice burn in the parking lot was amusing.

a very good day. i wish more people had shared it!

Everything from the weekend is such a blur, some elements are starting to come through. Seeing the enormous, tireless effort put on by PS people was pretty damned awesome. I realize so much was going on under the surface and how so many were double quadruple duty. It was impressive.
