My flight to Cincinnati appeared to encourage other flying things. For more than an hour in the morning before I left a dragonfly perched on my car antenna.

The walk from where I had to park to where my plane waited was only .6 miles (about 1km). At least it was very hot out.

It is true that there was an air conditioned walkway for more than half the trip. But, that walk over to it was long.

Also, you can’t get into it on the big support pillar. You’ve got to go over to the terminal on the left, go up 3 floors and then get onto it. This did require a bit of experimentation on my part.

Once up there, I could see my car.

There are nice powered walkways that make it easy to get across.
Unless they’re broken.

I think someone dug a tiger trap in this one. I guess it’s good I went around and walked.

My plane waited for me.

This is the rental (barge) car I was given.

It did have a big trunk.

It also had big head rests.

These were so big it made it a serious pain to back up. They blocked about 80% of what was behind me. Maybe that’s why big car drivers drive so bad, they just can’t see you.

And, these upper buttons are the seat adjust. Over the door latch, window and mirror controls. That’s just where I’d expect the seat controls. Wait, no I wouldn’t.

Back when I started playing D&D there was an evil spider god queen called Loth.
How the mighty have fallen. Now she’s a piece of wood.

Or, maybe the wood is just tribute. Either way hard times for the spider god.

Eventually I was back on the road going to the airport.

As everywhere in Ohio, there was corn.

Just for fun, the road went into Indiana. I guess that’s why it is the crossroads of America...

Then, the mighty Ohio river!

It is a big bridge.

Then, back in Kentucky!

It does look much the same on the southern side of the river.

My plane home was waiting. It might look like the plane out, but it wasn’t. For one, it was about 20 degrees cooler inside!

The airport there has vast tracks that appear to be deserted.

But, that didn’t stop us from taking off.

And, soon we were landing in Boston!

glad the trip, for the most part, wasn't a major hassle.

I find it amusing that the rental car had a cozy for the spare tire, it even matched the rest of the trunk!

I imagine the seat controls are targeted for the senior drivers - I doubt the police Interceptor version of that model the police drivers
are less worried about seat adjustments...Unless they are nice enough to pull the seat up for a hapless rider in the backseat?
