Welcome summer

I remember saying goodbye to summer last year, so I was glad to see it back today.

I was very happy to see the local wildlife has joined into the preparations for our faire by posing in the position of our symbol along major streets.


I don’t think this dog driving this pickup truck was specifically trying to help our faire, but since I was raised by a German Shepherd like this one, I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.


I made a point of going out behind the building just at the moment of the solstice. The ground pigs weren’t around, but the first light of summer was.


Spring is my least favorite season. I’m very happy to be under the light of summer again.

i wonder if that dog has thought about the effect of his low gas milegae on greenhouse gas emissions. tsk tsk. ;)

Well, he only appears to drive it around the storage area, so I doubt he gets good milage anyhow...

I'm hoping that Turkey Vulture was spreading the word, with an ad for the faire written across its wings :D
