Family time
May. 22nd, 2011 10:00 pmMy wife’s uncle and aunt have been up from Florida the last two weeks, so we’ve had a chance to get together with them some while they’re here.
Last weekend we met at O’Connor’s for dinner.
I bravely went and held the table while the others got there.

You may ask, “what’s brave about sitting at a table?”
But, sitting at a table for 7 in the middle of the dinner rush of one of the busiest restaurants in the city while people look at the “no party will be seated until all members arrive sign” and back at you can take some bravery. Especially when the line to get seated is out the door.
But, there are advantages to going to a restaurant since it opened more than 20 years ago.
Anyhow, the others were soon there.

Everyone seemed to have a good time.

(No, that is Uncle Rich having a good time. Really. It is.)
And, we promised to do it again soon.

Usually “soon” means a year later.
But, this time, soon meant “that next Thursday”.
So, Thursday my wife’s cousin brought us to an Italian place on route 20 in Northborough. (http://bistrolimoncello.com/aboutus )

We had another good time.

This time we went back to her cousin’s house so I could dog wrangle.

When they play fetch with the dog, they really play fetch. Most people just throw something for it to go after, not shoot something to chase down range. But, I was told this is how they do it.

OK, the dog did chase after the BB, but didn’t bring it back.
The dog is very active. This is an attempted photo of the dog.

With the flash on it is much easier to see the dog.

My wife had a really good time.

But, between dog and cat, my allergies were in over time. So, I was glad to go home again.
