Threadfall

Driving home today it was one of those weird storms where it is raining on you, but sunny everywhere else. This lets you actually see the rain coming down.


This is always how I imagine the “Threadfall” out of the Pern books.


I have no idea if that is what Anne McCaffrey imagined or not. But, it’s what I think of when I see it.

Either way, it was a spectacular drive home.
