God save the old fashion love song?

This morning I woke up and turned on the news as I got ready for work as I
normally do.
The royal wedding was on the station I normally watch the news and I
flicked it on just in time for the singing of “God Save the Queen.”
I was still humming it when I got in my car and turned it on.  The radio
was playing “Just and Old Fashion Love Song” by Three Dog Night.

So, all day I’ve had the two of them mixed in my head.
God save the love song?
Just and old fashion queen?
A queen I’m sure they wrote for you and me?

It’s stuck.  Guess I’ll have to reboot.

Ok now that is messing me up in the head, too :P

When we do our Mass. Militia Pike thing, and the song "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" plays, some of us jokingly finish the lines with "God Save The King", since 1630 the Mass. Bay Colony was still English :P
