Then a miracle occurred

Tomorrow my department at work is having all day design reviews on our work of the last several months.
It starts at 9 and goes to 4. That assumes that nothing will run late, and it almost always does.
My boss promised the service and manufacturing guys lunch if they attended this all day event.
The forecast for tomorrow is 100% chance of snow with 4-8” of accumulation.

“I was going to order pizza,” my boss said to me. “But, who will we sent out in the storm to get it?”
“Since I can’t eat pizza, I’m not big on going,” I said. “Any my little coupe isn’t the best in the snow.”
“I promised everyone lunch,” my boss said. “Now I don’t know what to do.”

Just then a man we had never seen before drove up to our building and walked in.
“Hi!” He said. “I am the delivery man for the D’Angelo’s sandwich shop just down the road from here. I decided to stop and let you know that I will be working tomorrow in the storm and delivery lunch to any who order it.”
“We were just wondering where to get lunch for a meeting tomorrow,” I said.
“Take one of our delivery menus,” he said handing me one. “I’d be happy to bring you lunch tomorrow.”
“Do you think everyone at the meeting would be OK with sandwiches instead of pizza?” my boss asked.
“You’re buying,” I said. “I think that is what they care about.”
“Here, you also have one of our delivery menus,” the man said, handing one to my boss.
Then, he turned, left and drove away.

Which seems like a really good skill for food delivery service!
We often used D-Angelo's or subway for catered lunches - I can't recall which of them did it, but they had 6 foot and 9 foot long party subs that had a variety of everything, plus they'd make a number of vegetarian subs separately so they'd never touch meat for the vegger-types. It worked very well in our office anyway..
