Bleah

I wish this cold/flu/infection/alien parasite or whatever is making me sick
would just go away. I have never enjoyed being sick. And, that is extra
true these days.
I got almost nothing done this weekend, and I had hoped to get at least
some stuff done.
The only time I left the house at all this weekend was to go as far as the
front door and get the pizza delivery. (Thankfully my wife, who was also
sick, did venture out to the supermarket the day before the Superbowl and
get us food. Personally I think that ranks up there somewhere between
Washington crossing the Delaware and the siege of Troy, but she only said
"I got some food".)
I did get a book I was expecting (Ian M. Banks "Matter"). So I had
something to read. I didn't have the concentration to read as much as I
wanted, but it was there when I did.
I have been at work the past two days. At least physically. I am far from
the only sick one here, but that doesn’t make me feel better about it.
For reasons not at all clear to me, Sprint won’t let me order my present
for my wife on line. Yet, when I ordered the same thing for myself last
month in person, it took them two tries to get it right.
I have had cause to ponder karma. But, we’ll see how that all plays out.

sorry to hear you're still suffering...I think I wasn't up to 100% until a few days ago...And I still get the sniffles now and then. :b
