Hurt toe

Last week when carrying stuff, I dropped a case on my big toe.
For a few days it felt strange. It felt like something was stuck between that toe and the next.
But after all the walking yesterday, it really hurts.
But not in the toe, in the joint behind it.
I don't see how hitting the toe on the nail would hurt the joint.
Strange, but it certainly hurts...

thats called minor sensation nerve damage, it will repair itself as all sensation nerves do. when you damage/short the cable connecting a sensor, you often get weird signals, your nervous system is no different in this instance
