It seems very James Bond to me

I got to work today and the network was down.
Our IT person quit three weeks ago.
So:
We had was to call our secret base in the Alps, precisely as the sun
reached its summer solstice and try and have them take control of our
computer network. The young good looking blond woman with the German
accent, who happens to be a computer expert and dancer tried to jump start
the network from across the ocean, but couldn’t. Instead, a critical
component had to be rewired on the fly by someone crawling upside down
under the computer tower in the equipment closet.
OK, maybe that is too much like a Bond movie. It just happened to be at
7:28 local that we called. That had nothing to do with it being the
solstice and everything to do with a lot of us come in about 7:30.
The blond women is just the IT person who worked here for 3 months, so she
knows the system.
How the network server that has been working here for 6 months can only now
be found to require 220V instead of 110V is still a mystery to me. I guess
it has been right on the edge for this whole time. Now, they’re getting it
the right voltage so it should work again.
But, it still seems a bit Bondish to me…
Unless you have some industrial lasers
