The return of walks at work

I had cut down on my walking at work because of shoe problems. I broke one pair when twisting my ankle again and the replacement pair gave me a big blister on my heel.
Back in 83 (yeah, a lot happened in 83 for me) I got some blisters on my heels walking across Washington DC in my dress shoes because my roomate hadn’t paid the electric bill. (Different story.) And, the blisters got badly infected. The doctor was worried it would turn into that flesh eating kind of infection as it was the right kind to do that, but he had given me the good antibiotics from the start, so it stayed on the boarderline and didn’t get to that point.
The upshot is, if 27 years later if I get a blister on my heel I stop doing what gave me the blister while it heals.
Anyhow, I’m back to walking and things are still in bloom:

The tree in front of my office isn’t in much bloom, but is still hanging onto two of its pink flowers.

I do like seeing all the new growth in some of the plants. The light green stands out very well showing what is new and what is old.

The birch tree is right outside the conference room and demo room. I’m not sure what that says for the devil hiding behind birch trees fears of my youth.

I can’t say I like those long meetings, but I’m not sure they are actually diabolical...
We are now coming to the end of tree sex time and things are getting less colorful and more green. But, I’ve got no problem with that.

There are still a few gung ho trees going at the sex thing.

I don’t know if that is what attracted the caterpillar nest, but it was the only tree that had one.

Although I didn’t see any other nests, some leaves do have holes in them.

Sadly, with all the other green, the kind I like least is back as well. I’d say it looks like a good year for the poison ivy, but I haven’t seen a bad year yet.
