You feel steamy, punk?

After adventures with picking up packages (FedEx has learned to ask us to go to their place) and haircuts, blue_micha, julytooth, my wife and I set off for the Steampunk festival in near Boston.

Sadly it had been a while since I had been to that area, so we ended up parking a bit away and having to walk over.


We had to cross the river, but there was a nice little bridge for doing so.


During the flooding this winter the museum was damaged, and it seems like geese have been nesting there.


The part of it I liked best was before we went in. They had a set up of all sorts of little steam engines. It was very nice.


I also liked their machine shop. It was much like the one where I was taught to do machining.


blue_micha liked this one as it was made by folks where she went to school.


It was a small festival and we didn’t stay too long. Afterwards we went over to a BBQ place near there for lunch.


I also stopped at the comic book store near there and got a new Green Lantern ring to replace the one I left in Florida at Christmas.
