Tales from the other side

This morning as I was getting my hair cut, there was quite the story going on at the station next to me.
“You missed a great party!” the woman cutting hair said.
“Was that the one you almost got arrested?” the woman in the chair asked.
“Yeah! If you read your text messages you could have been there!”
“Didn’t you bite someone?”
“I was wearing my leopard skin dress, so it seemed right,” the stylist said. “But, then security grabbed me and threw me out. So, I snuck back in, and they threw me out again. So, I snuck back in and they said they’d call the cops!”
The woman doing my hair looked at me and rolled her eyes.
“25 years ago I used to work as a bouncer,” I told her. “It’s interesting to hear the other side of the stories.”
“I just go home after my shift,” she said to me. “So, I don’t get any stories like that.”
“But, you still get to enjoy them at work,” I said.
The woman next to us continued: “I saw this guy at Wal-Mart with a tattoo that said ‘white trash’ on his arm. My tattoos are all pretty trashy, but I don’t label them!”
My stylist just looked at me and laughed.
