Hang time

My first day back at work the time really seemed to crawl by.
Last week we were getting ready for my boss’ big presentation in Switzerland this week, and at home we were getting ready for going to GCRF in Pensacola.
This week my boss is over there giving the presentation and GCRF is over.
I’m not saying I’m out of work, I’m not. There are plenty of things on my to do list.
But, last week it was “fix these slides, update that spreadsheet and redraw the delivery mechanism then you can go home, rent your van, pack it and start you 1400 mile drive at 5 in the evening”.
It was just a bit more busy then this week.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want my normal week to be my thinking “only 10 hours today, I got to go home early.”
It’s just after a couple of weeks of having a pile of things that had to GET DONE AT ONCE(!), it’s a bit strange not to have that.
