fbhjrThe down side to being a consultant is no one removes the taxes from your paycheck. So, once a quarter you have to do it yourself and send it on in.
And, being self employed you actually pay more taxes as you have to pay your own social security and the employer share as well. I know when I do the end of year ones I can deduct that. But, that's not the same as getting it back.
I don't object to paying taxes. I like the services the government provides.
But, those were big numbers on that check...
