Merry Christmas

For the first time since we got here, it was a bit cloudy this morning. So, I only explored the complex by satellite photo.


It is fairly well located for seeing all the folks we want to see.


About noon we headed over to my wife’s uncle’s place. We missed our highway exit getting there, but found the place using local landmarks.

We never got around to asking why there was an inflatable purple man just down the road from him. But, there must be a reason, right?

The place he lives has festive gates.


He and my wife’s aunt were happy to see us and had put out quite the spread.


There were six of us there for dinner, and everyone seemed to have a good time.


Then, off to my cousin’s place. We made sure to wear our new footwear.


There my wife and mariness tried to show Tom how to use facebook while the younger Tom did the same on his cellphone.


My wife made cookies, and everyone seemed to enjoy them.


Sadly the amount of food I ate today made me grow a size larger and my foot burst out of my new footwear.

Despite that we had a very good time.

Sounds (and looks) like a good Christmas. Aside from the blown out toe, of course.
