It had to be jump started this morning moments after having a full battery put in it.
Tonight, it wouldn't start at all. A total brick.
Sad.
I think there is a problem with the ignition switch or something related to it. Hopefully that's not too expensive to fix.
Sad.
At least my wife came and rescued me. That was very nice of her!

Our mechanic is fairly inexpensive and good. He doesn't have a lot of overhead. We would be more than happy to introduce you to him. The only gotcha is, he only takes cash, unless he knows you really well, then he'll take a check.

Sadly, my car is stuck where it is. And, AAA will tow it to their own garage.
So, that's probably where it will go.
I'm hoping it is a simple electrical fault. I don't think a fully charged battery would go dead the second I turned the key without some sort of sign. (Big flash, bang, etc.) So, I think something else has shorted out and the power just isn't getting there.

Agreed.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to check all your fuses before you pay the repair fee.
I once had a car blow its fuse for the ECM and it showed no signs of life whatsoever.
Ignition switch is a good guess as well.
Good luck!
