Nein, Nein, Nein
Sep. 9th, 2009 04:28 pmI know last year 8/8/08 was supposed to be really lucky. I don’t know about 9/9/09. It sounds more like an unhappy German fellow to me.
But, it’s still the time of year I like, so I set off to wander around some.

It has taken all year for this plant to grow out enough to be a pain to my walking down the road. But, now I’ve got to time my going past with traffic.

When I got to the first intersection I found a strange example of magazine distribution.

On closer examination they turned out to be National Geographic. I’m not sure why they are in the middle of the intersection. But, given I saw a woman in a SUV pass someone stopped on the one lane cross road at the light to go through the red and take the corner at 30 with squealing tires, I understand why no one went back for them.
Ignoring horrible drivers of Shrewsbury, I paid attention to the signs of impending fall.
The swamps are fading from purple to brown, but the trees are going from green to red.

I was glad to see that the town of Shrewsbury didn’t just plant the flowers and trees in the road, but are playing someone to take care of them too.

(As a private joke to a very few, it is MON landscaping. I guess it made sense he’d go into that as he was stronger than any bulldozer, right?)
When up on top of the hill, I always forget how much warmer it is just 1 mile away at the bottom of the hill. But, I quickly finished my errands and headed back up the hill.

There I was confronted by a strange sight. I’ve seen them moving parts of homes on flat bed trucks, but never garden structures.

I’m not saying there is anything wrong with it. Only that it is very strange to see a gazebo coming at you at 55 miles per hour.

World's fastest gazebo?
Gazebo on the road?
Well, at least it makes sense from a tarot-perspective
Date: 2009-09-10 03:10 am (UTC)The 9 of wands signifies - hang in there, you can get through this/cope
The 9 of swords signifies - worry/concern, not about something that you are already dealing with but worry about something which may come up.
The 9 of cups signifies - satisfaction/contentment/adequacy of material comfort/food/etc.
The 9 of pentacles signifies a possible windfall/profit
It all seems to point to the economic scenario we find ourselves in, coincidentally.
