End of summer
Sep. 9th, 2009 09:49 amThe signs of fall are starting to show up. First, as is traditional the day after Labor Day, they started draining the pool where I live.

And, the leaves are starting to turn.

On our drive up to Lowell we drove through the 495 construction area. It always makes me wonder who paints their lines.

One of the things I like so much about this time of year is the quality of light. The air is dry, but still warm. So, in the afternoon there is a crispness to things that you don’t get when it is humid, but not the total sharpness of when it is really cold.
I really like the way it makes things look.

All in all, this is the time of year I think the world looks best.
