So, the other day when I asked for suggestions of good things to do with my
wife in the time remaining in her hiatus from her lover, I was hoping to
get some.

I have been given the whole Vulcan salute idea, so I’m not saying I haven’t
had any help.
But, more ideas would be appreciated.
Keep in mind:
1) Can’t cost much money. (I don’t have an exact limit, but more than $10
seems to be bad.)
2) Should be something both she and I can look back on fondly. (So
something that’s good for both of us.)
3) Has to fit into our work schedules. And, I’m out of vacation time.
4) Something for the two of us that’s special. (She’s big on large social
gatherings, but I don’t think that will help our personal relationship.)

So, please chime in. This includes you lurkers. She tracks who hits these
pages, so don’t pretend you aren’t reading it. You read this, I’ll know.
So, help me out.

I'm down and the sword is coming:

Go to the park (Devil's Canyon, Walden Pond, Lake Quinsigamond whatever) and bring hot mulled cider in a thermos and enjoy the last of the fall foliage, the pretty water, etc. Doesn't have to have much hiking, just the shared coziness of being kinda cold, but warm inside.

It's not *too* cold and snowy, so maybe Purgatory Chasm in Sutton MA? Forget the implications of the name of the place - It's very pretty and it's free.

Tower Hill Botanical Gardens?

I'm sensing a "cold" theme here....

And, there are half a dozen of you who have looked at this and not made suggestions!
That's just mean.

There is the Butterfly place out in springfield, not too pricey to get in social but not, and some really cool flowers, plants and of course butterflies, quail run about. Its really cool. And its warm. No outside. Also out that way is a big christmas light display. But that you do at night and drive through. Ummmmm,You could volinter at say the food bank one weekend help folks who need it.There's the buttonwood zoo in New Bedford, plus all the deferent places in and around there. There is the Worc. sharks games, weds night if you use your Price chopper card you get a buck off ea. ticket. Its inside, social and cold. As I think of stuff I'll post.

Riiiiight, Purgatory Chasm, not Devil's Den.
Man, you travel around too much and those afterlife-named parks start to blend together.
Yes, that's the place I meant. Go there.

:)

Perhaps we could reactivate (or parallel) Kethwyn?

I have recently started a new game. She played in the first session before she moved out. She has yet to rejoin it, but has talked about it.

Can't do Kethwyn as it was. I wrote too much of the plot around Meldrick. (It made sense at the time. Didn't know she was going to move to Canada.)
I could certainly do other things in that world. Even that city.
After all, even without Meldrick, the war will go on. He wasn't going to be the one to stop it anyhow...

So, I'm up for more gaming if she's involved....
