The holidays

Yesterday went fairly well. It was nice Tom and Pat came over. Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that is better shared. And, I’m happy they were willing to share it with us after all that time in the van together.
The biggest problem was that after making bacon for breakfast, I turned off the stove. Then, I put the turkey in. About an hour later, I noticed that I hadn’t turned it back on.
Ah well, it still cooked.
I can’t say I’m big on the holidays this year. It’s been a long time since I’ve really been excited about them. But, this year is worse than most.
I’m told not to concentrate on what happens when they’re over. But, it’s hard not to think about it. I guess we’ll see.

On a different note, I was asked when the next games night might be....
