My wife was back at work today. While happy she has a job, especially when I do not, it was a bit lonely after her being home all last week.
I did walk down to the pharmacy and bank, which I hadn’t done last week as my wife doesn’t like walking along the main road.
It’s not the huge clumps of poison ivy along the side.

It’s more the long walk where there isn’t any place to walk except on the very narrow shoulder of the road.

And, the bushes that make you walk even farther out in the road from time to time as demonstrated by my stunt double.

Of course the speed limit is 45 so folks drive 60 and go through the lights without remorse. So, I understand what she doesn’t like about it.
Today the cars weren’t whizzing by as fast. In fact there was a huge traffic jam where I was making almost as good time as the folks in cars.

I guess it is all so they can plant trees in the middle of the road.

I’m all for more trees. But, I’m not sure this is the best place for them. The folks trying to get through Shrewsbury seemed fairly sure it isn’t.

Of course, sooner or later two of them would come together on the subject.

Of course these folks hit on the side that wasn’t backed up. I suspect because they were watching all the people who were backed up.
The police responded quickly and with a fair number of cars.

I’m not sure why they sent two cars to a minor fender bender when they refused to send any help to the 34 car pile up my wife was in years ago. I guess it’s easier to deal with 2.

I did try again to find out where to send my job search log to the unemployment people.
My first time to call the state headquarters failed because they had me on hold so long my cellphone died.
So, I tried again with the land line. (I don’t remember the last time I used it for an outgoing call...)

After more than half an hour on hold I finally got through to someone.
“You don’t need to send those in,” the woman told me.
“Your web form I filled out specifically said I did,” I told her.
“You don’t have to until you’re on extended insurance,” she said. “You are not on extended insurance yet.”
“Then why did your web site tell me I had to send it in?” I asked.
“You’ll know when to send it as we’ll mail you something,” she said.
I hope she’s right. I don’t want to lose my benefits because of this.

Finally, my back up character in WOW hit level 80.

My wife loaned me enough in game money to get the fast flying mount. That’s cool. It’s not a special one like the ones she has. But, it’s still cool.

Yeah, Shrewsbury, town of entitlement. They won't hit you with an SUV -why get that nasty blood on their pearlized custom ride?

As for special mounts, I am not sure the dragon was worth it :(

I hope so, too. Following my recent hounding from the Dept. of Revenue, I'd suggest make copies and type out a transcript of your conversation with this person...I hope you got a name??

yesss...socialistic bureaucracy! Hooray for paperwork!

They must be sent once your on the extended plan. That means dumbass at home now has to send them in. Once you hit your 26 weeks, which hopefully you won't, then you too would need to fill them out and get them in.

That's fine, except that they keep telling me on the web site that I do have to do it.
