Deep South adventures, day 5

And now, Antarctica

Literally as I finished uploading that last entry and shut off the computer to go to bed I looked out the window and saw one of the Antarctic islands going by.




It's Monday night at 10:15. We left Wednesday at 2 in the afternoon.
But, we're here.
The mainland will come later. Tomorrow, we're stopping at this islands.
But, they still are part of Antarctica.

By the time I had this uploaded, they're past and we can't see them any more. (Maybe 15 minutes later, tops.)
I'm glad I just happened to look when I did or I would have missed it.
