I have written before how my wife doesn’t like the town of Ennis in Ireland.
It is remarkable the level to which this instinctive dislike of it goes.

Lately on NetFlix we’ve been watching <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_Ted>Father Ted</a>. My wife likes some episodes and not others. One of her least favorite episodes was the Christmas special. So, I looked it up. Parts of it were filmed in Ennis... We didn’t watch the credits, and had never been in the shop they used when filming. There was no way for her to know. I don’t know what it is about that town.
