Can data be immoral?
Mar. 27th, 2012 02:37 pmToday we got a memo from the IT department about how to use our computers
here at work. One of the things it say was: “it is strictly forbidden to
use our systems for saving of immoral and illegal data”.
And, that got me wondering:
Can data be immoral?
It’s just a bunch of ones and zeros, right? Is that immoral?
Or is it, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder?
