This and that

I spent a couple of hours today working on the sickle stuff for the symposium. I’ve entered all of the moves in the 16 pages of instructions into a spreadsheet to track how often different moves are made. Now I’m going to compare that to other weapons and see if it is different.
(Yes, 16 “encounters” with a weapon isn’t really enough to do a statistical analysis of the style. But, it’s all I’ve got. Even reading through it I can see differences to other things I’ve looked at. Now, I’ve got to put numbers on that.)
I also found I’ve got an extra week on that. I knew it was the 26th, but thought that was only 2 weeks away...

I also spent some time between bands of rain running errands to the pharmacy, bank and hardware store. It’s 2km to the pharmacy and/or bank so it’s a nice walk.
I failed to get the right knob for the broken shower in our guest bathroom, so I will have to continue to work on that project.

I started the office today as well. A couple of hours hauling stuff out of there and it’s hard to see the difference. But, that’s why I started with the living room last week. It was the easier room to clean.

One of my other projects is to make a job hunting movie that I can send to people with pictures of the things I’ve worked on and places I’ve worked. But, I’m holding off on most of that until I get my hair cut on Wednesday. After that, full speed ahead.

Let me know what kind of knob you need. We might have it in the leftover stuff. We used to be in the faucet industry, but were getting out of it. Everything has been catalogued and credited off the books so it's just waiting to be trashed. So, if it's in there I can nab one for you.
