sitting there who hasn’t closed her purse. Another person comes and sits
next to that woman. The woman, wrapped up in her own thoughts doesn’t
notice. The new person reaches into the woman’s purse and takes something
out. The woman doesn’t notice.
What do you do?
What should you do?
Slightly different questions: Same parameters as above, but the second
person is your best friend, and all they take out of the woman’s purse is a
stick of gum.
Do you do the same thing?
Even if your friend would hate you for it?
What if the bus had a security camera that you can grab the tape from?
Do you destroy it?
What if the woman realizes and says “how do I know you didn’t take more?”
Do you keep the tape to prove it was only gum?
