Both Friday and Saturday we drove up to New Hampshire for fire shows. It’s very pretty this time of year.

Yesterday’s party was at Tom’s formerly purple house. It’s more blue after a bit more than a decade of fading.

The party was supposed to have started at 2, but not many folks were there by then.

There was a worm that might have been a jumping worm. We did not see it jump. (https://www.nhbugs.org/damaging-insects-diseases/jumping-worms )

There were frogs. We did see them jump.

Eventually more folks showed up and Tom started burning things.

As the sun went down we got ready for our fire show.

The show photos are here: https://phoenixswords.dreamwidth.org/11608.html

It was quite dark by the time it ended.

Half way between Tom’s place and ours is a panini place my wife and I like. So we stopped for a late dinner there on the way home as the moon rose.

frogs! We don't have them here, it's too dry.

Must be a time of year for frogs? I found two in the house last night and had to chase them all around to get them back outside!

Lovely pics, looks like a good fire event!
