After doing the set up and first show at the show in Ansonia, we headed into Boston.

Our flight out was on Aer Lingus about 9:30 at night. The flight in front of ours was almost 2 hours late, but we were on time.

We landed 40 minutes early, but they weren’t ready. So, we waited 45 minutes and then had to walk off and take a bus to the terminal.

We had about an hour until we got a smaller plane to Leeds.

There, the rental car disaster, but Avis bailed us out.

We finally found the hotel and parked in the super villain lair under the train tracks.

The hotel was nice enough, right along the canal.

We did eat at the restaurant at the hotel as we were too tired to go anywhere else.

Monday morning we went over to the university for day 1 of the Medieval conference.

We went to a talk on the Byzantine influence on heavy metal music before our tour.

Then, a 2 hour bus ride to Richmond castle. The tour was given by one of the historians who made the signs for the tours.

Then, back to the bus and Leeds.

We again ate at the hotel and turned in early.
