Photo catchup

These are photos of the slippery hill that I couldn’t get up the Friday before last. Most of the photos are from later when the ice melted as I stayed in until then.

I think if I did hit that other van as I spun around I’d see evidence of it on the front of my car and I don’t.

It did get very slippery out one of the other nights this week. Grass should not shine in the light that way…

But, the car made it to work and back and grocery shopping even on one of the more slippery days.

Last week’s sword practice was a bit chilly, but not the coldest of the winter.

NoaLee showed up so we could teach her the fight her dad and I had been writing for her to do.

Her dad also had to work with my wife and Ian.

As all the kids in the group are getting older, we’ve had to resort to fake babies in the fights.

We had another ice storm this week. And, I guess I cleaned the ice off my car so vigorously that I took off one of the cleaner jets.

Driving home from work the other day the highway just came to a stop.
It’s a bad thing when the local news helicopter is over the road you’re trying to use.

My wife’s iPad stopped working, so we had Apple replace it. Then, it won’t use it’s cellphone abilities to get on the internet.
So, I took it to an AT&T store Friday at lunch.
I had to wait in line for two hearing impaired people to complain about their phone problems before it was my go.

I know that sounds like some sort of TV comedy thing, but it isn’t.
They weren’t able to fix it, so I had to call their help line. Once I got to their advanced tech, it just started working as soon as he said hello.
But, later it went back to not working.
So, apparently the sound of his voice makes it work…
Bringing home Chinese food for dinner Friday I saw Horus over Westborough. He doesn’t photograph well, and it looked much more like him in person. Don’t know why he was here. He’s usually in my drier, warmer places.

A minute or two later, my car had major problems.

Was it Horus? Had he been warning me? He’s a sky god, so maybe it was about the impending storm?
Don’t know.
But, I’m not happy with him in the area. Makes me wonder about all these things going wrong…
The next morning the storm was nowhere near as bad as predicted. The predicted 30cm and we got maybe 5-6cm.

It was still slippery and bringing my car to the dealership still went past accidents in the 10km or less round trip.

Sadly, the hybrid guy called in due to the storm, so they won’t look at my car until Monday…
