What’s this asshole about?

fbhjrThis weekend we’re doing a sword show in New Jersey.
On the way to the show we stopped for gas and I went into the store to grab some fruit.
As I was standing there in costume holding two bananas this guy came into the store and looked at me.
“What’s this asshole about?” He said, not very loudly.
I turned to look at him and a look I can only describe as “oh no, I said that out loud” passed over his face.
He was considerably shorter than me and I stared down at him.
He turned and walked out of the store without buying anything or saying anything else.
That might be the most New Jersey thing that’s every happened to me…
