This week’s practice

It seems like most people can’t make it to practice until 2. So, despite more than 20 years of running it from 1-4 we are not going to start doing it 2-5.
I’m not really big on that, but it’s not like we have a lot of performers and I need to make sure they can make it to practice.

So, after we sat around for an hour or so, folks showed up and we did practice.





We gradually moved outside, even through it was damp and not overly warm.



I’m told by our guy who is a landscape architect that some of these plants in the yard are fairly rare…


But, we sword fought on them anyhow.





Some time over the last two weeks, Tom managed to spill motor oil over his fire whip. So, there was a lot of effort spent trying to burn it off with several different fuels.
A LOT of effort.

Sorry about the time change.

I would have thought that the motor oil would have caused a lot of dark smoke.

It smelled BAD and we had to do three soakings and dumpings to get the whip somewhat "normal" for burns
