The afternoon here in Shrewsbury was much different then the morning.
The maintenance people where I live are very quick to get to things.
You can see how quickly they deal with things.

Afternoon:

Sadly there isn’t much to be done about the power line.

I’m not sure when Shrewsbury Power will get to it. I understand they have a whole lot to do.

And, my cable is now out. So, no internet. I can’t say when I’ll post this. Hopefully in the not too distant future.
I walked over to the store and saw other folks in the area had a lot of trees down as well.

The ice was melting fast, but still quite pretty to look at. Especially this tree with the red berries.

With the sun shining through the ice it was very nice to look at. Yes, I know it has caused all sorts of damage and trouble. But, some things do that without looking nice. At least this has an upside.

Walking back along the road, the ice on the hills past Worcester made them look, to me anyhow, like clouds. It was hard to tell where the ice covered hill ended and the sky began.
To me, it looked like the world just ended past the city.

It was a strange feeling. It was like in the movie “The Never Ending Story” with the nothing coming.
I rather liked it. Or at least the concept that one day you could find that the world had radically changed and the edge of the world was now in sight of your home.

I did get a good look at the windmill for the first time. I first saw it there a bit more than a month ago. It’s big. This is a zoomed picture from several miles away.

That’s also cool to have in the neighborhood.
