This week’s practice

There was an ice storm Friday which left snow and ice at the practice grounds.


My wife bought some new charcoal swinging things that she’s seen video of on Youtube.
So, there was a lot of effort to load them up with the mini charcoal disks they take, but after they are crushed.





Then outside to use them, but it was very hard to light them.




Eventually our regular torches were lit and they got the charcoal going.



In the daylight they aren’t very visible, but do leave soot behind.



We did work on sword stuff too.



My wife had some new costuming to try.



The back out for some more fire.






Then, back across the dam to home and eventually out to get some Chinese take out.
