End of vacation in photos

Tomorrow I go back to work after more than 3 weeks off. It’s the longest vacation I’ve had since I started working as a teenager.

I’ve been looking at where we went on vacation.


It seemed like a lot to us, but was a tiny part of the continent. I still expect to leave the rest of it unexplored by us.


For New Year’s Eve we joined our game night friends for a breakfast.



We did finally get our built up mail from when we were gone. There was a lot.


Over the many years we’ve lived here, we’ve seen lots of neighbors move out. But, I’ve never seen celebrations of glitter of them going before.


Today we went to visit my aunt. The sign in the elevator leads me to think there have ben problems.



Her husband wasn’t there and I think has been moved to a different part of the home.

She couldn’t remember why, but said things had been bad.
I’m not sure how, but she didn’t have bruises this time, and did last. So, I expect it was a good move in general…

We didn't have sword practice today as some folks had other plans and the family of glass thinks they might have covid.
Hopefully not and we'll be back to having sword practice next week.
