This is very late because the company that hosts our photos "upgraded" our server and flubbed it so only now after several days of trying things and 2 1/2 hours talking to their tech support today can these photos be seen.

Fall is certainly here. Many trees have lost their leaves, but some haven’t even started to turn yet. That is very strange.

At work we were supposed to have one of our units tested by an outside lab to confirm it is OK. So, I went into the office that day to oversee the tests, but the guy never showed up.

After waiting for him for a couple of hours I got a call he was in the hospital with a heart attack. Good reason for not showing up. I hear he’s there this week, but someone else went to oversee it, not me.

It is the time of year my wife likes to make pies, so I got a new apple peeler.

It’s electric!

My wife is getting worried about our upcoming trip so I had to break out the planning board. Turned out it still had the Australia trip from 5 years ago on it.

But, I soon had it over to the new one.

My wife said my eyes looked strange this week. Must have been Halloween.

Going back more than a dozen years, the sword troupe has half a share in a giant inflatable Darth Vader that we only used on one show.
Lots going on in those entries. You might want to stop and check:

Anyhow, our fight consultant who owns the other half needs it for a play at the college where he is in charge of all stage combat.

It was with the family of glass. So, Saturday we drove off in the rain to get it.

It was a pretty drive, but damp.

Then, once Darth was retrieved from the town were the Simpsons live, we headed north along the Connecticut river.

Springfield has the basketball hall of fame. Never been in…

My family moved to this valley close to 400 years ago, but none of us live in it now. I have lived in it, and one of my cousins has, but it’s been a while.

I still count it as an ancestral homeland. (I’ve got a lot.)

We beat our friend there by a good while.

So, we went to the bookstore! I don’t think I’ve been inside on since the pandemic started!

We met our friend in the garage and stayed there due to covid concerns. The squirrels were not wearing masks…

Then, back through the rain to home.

I noticed the new meat store is open.

The strip mall has a place to help you grow pot, a mostly vegetarian Indian grocery store, the new meat shop and a brew your own beer place. Not sure who plans that…

Then, off for Chinese food.

Sunday morning started with me getting my vaccine booster shot.

But, the rest of the day was very busy.
So, it will be an entry on its own.
