Worcester does an Art in the Park thing most years in a park near where my wife and I used to live:
https://www.artintheparkworcesterma.org
It opened last weekend, but we didn’t get there between not feeling well and hurricanes. So, this Saturday we headed over.
The superhero movie Black Panther 2 was filming just to the right in this photo. Or had been earlier that week. Not sure if they’re still going or not. But, they were filming in a tunnel that goes under this intersection.

Next we drove down the street where we used to live and past the building we lived in for about 10 years.

But, then we were at the park and started to look at the art.

This one we couldn’t find. There was a sign, but nothing we could see that looked like a minotaur to us…

This one I thought was a chair, but my wife correctly identified it as a rib.

I don’t get the connection to the name on this one.

This one I do get the connection

The park has grown over a lot since we used to live there. There didn’t used to be these reeds in the pond and it was used for skating in the winter.
But, I’m sure the birds like it better this way.

There are a fair number of pieces.

And, there are benches.

This one had photos of how the wood had been burnt for the display.

I’m not sure if this is art or not. But, there was no sign…

The far end of the pond had a lot of geese in it. But, they’re used to people and just ignore you.

This one didn’t have a sign, but was on the website. The guy on the bench didn’t seem to like us taking photos, but we tried to only get the art.

My wife wanted her photo by this big tree.

Half way around is across the street from our comic book store, so I crossed over and picked up our latest delivery before going back for more art.

My wife and I both thought that the reconstruction of the three decker across the street was more interesting than this piece…

This one was spread out over a big area.

We think we probably missed a few based on the numbers, but maybe like minotaur, they weren’t really there.
It was about an hour to walk around the park, get my comics and finish.
Afterwards we went over to one of our favorite restaurants for lunch.

All in all a nice time out.
