I’ve noticed that the amount of money I spend for gas in my car is way down compared to 2012 to 2019.

In previous years I’ve spent between $2.50 and $4.00 a day on gas on average. While the gas price has changed some, not that much.

It’s all due to reducing the miles I drive a day by 30 to 40 a day.

It is strange to me that my drive to work is 76 miles each way, not counting other trips I make, but my average distance per day is in the 50’s.
I guess using my wife’s car for most of our weekend and holiday travel really brings down the average.
