Weeks in photos

I haven’t been doing the "week in photos" for a few weeks as there just haven’t been that many things to take photos of.
I work in my living room these days. I spend my free time in my living room. And, I sleep in the bedroom only one room away.
I’m feeling like the toys in the Toy Story movies that are afraid they’re being put in storage to maybe never be brought out…
But, after a while things do happen and I take photos. It does make for a kind of haphazard collection.
So, this is basically March so far…
This is that pickup form the strange drive by begging story at the Chinese Restaurant.

I say I’m stuck at home, but I did add a state to my list of places I’ve been.

I do only count places I’ve spent at least one night. If you count places I’ve changed planes, driven through or otherwise just passed through, it’s a few more.

I may yet at another one in that category this spring… We’ll see.
I hadn’t had a haircut since September, so drove into Worcester to get one.

Before and after.

Then, we had a Phoenix Swords meeting with the biggest attendance since we went virtual.

After the meeting back in to Worcester to pick up dinner.

It’s colorful, and not just due to emergency vehicles.

The ambulance was not there for the Mexican place. That’s good as we get food from there often.

Soon I was going back across the rainbow bridge to home.

The birds checked out our window box this spring, but it looks like they passed on a nest this year.

Maybe they were just looking for a place shielded from the reflected sunset…

Sadly, our Phoenix Swords website was hacked by enhancement drugs.

I was reviewing old photos due to the website problems and I realized most of our wedding party I am no longer fond of.
Two I’m indifferent about, but always was.
Two I’m actively mad at.
One has done unforgivable things to me.
That leaves me, my wife and our friend Mike. I’m glad Mike’s still our friend.

My wife keeps sending me nude photos in Pokemon go…

I ran out of clean wedding rings and had to wash my collection.

We had a game night. The first game we played was on politics trying to gather voters for your side. I beat the guy who is actually active in one of the political parties. But, I think that has more to do with geometry.

Then, we played a game I actually like and play a lot. I won that quickly.

But, in the rematch they guy with the PhD in game theory did almost catch me…

The end of winter wasn’t bad. Lots of clear, but cold days.

And, most of the markets are fully open now.

But, there are still mystery empty carts roaming the aisles…

We did another on line meeting with our godkids. There was sharing of one phone for the video, so only sections of folks…

Sunday it looked like snow, and I was right.

But, the over all amount of snow is much less than it was.

Amazon does not seem to have drivers that park well.

Today we went off to the local botanical garden.

https://www.towerhillbg.org
They are having a "yarn storm" where they put sweaters on everything. Poles, benches, trees, statues of turtles…

They’re adding to the parking lot, but you can still see the mountain.

The inside sections are now open again, but with precautions.

Sections are closed due to the construction and the fountain is off.

The formal garden is fairly barren, but starting to show life.

The dragon nest awaits the dragons…

The construction in the woods looks extensive.

They’re making a garden for children, which should be nice. The hill is glacial droppings, so mostly stone. Clearing that can be very challenging, so good on them for doing that work.
A car got very, very lost looking for the parking lot and actually drove into the woods on the nature trails.

One of the folks who works there guided them to the opposite side of the place where a fairly clearly marked parking lot sits.
Not sure how you could go past several "DO NOT PASS" signs and think you’re on the right path…

We stayed clear and roamed the woods.

It was a very nice day. About +16C, which was very nice since Thursday morning was -12C…

But, still ice on the lake…

So, a nice day out.
Good to get out of the house…
