Strange traveling food

When flying home Thursday I needed to eat in the Chicago airport.
Normally, not a problem as there are lots of places to eat.
These days? More than half are closed due to Covid.

Near my gate was a bar and a pretzel place.
Being close to 35 years since I quit drinking, I went and looked at the pretzel place.

I picked the hot dog wrapped in a pretzel and even got my soda in a bottle!


You may notice that when they make these, they wrap the pretzel like a spring around the hot dog in the center.

When I took a bite at the end, the spring like pretzel unwound and sprung off towards the right. The hot dog, deprived of its support sprung to the right.

So, I was left with a Y shaped dinner as I sat there in the gate waiting area.
It was very strange.
I ended up eating them separately as I could find now way to recombine them.
