Week in photos
Aug. 30th, 2020 08:09 pmThis week I had my annual physical. I’m still old and fat. Sometimes I wonder why I pay to be told these things…
It did mean I was marked with the black diamond.

In skiing that would mean I’m difficult…
I can tell the summer is mostly over as when I come out in the morning it is still dark as if the middle of the night.

I got one of the Pokestops in town that is hard to get this week.

Friday was game night and we tried several different ones.

We didn’t do much Saturday. It rained a lot. I went to a different supermarket than normal. It was VERY crowded and that worried me a fair bit. I’m talking lines 6 to 10 people deep at each of the 25 registers and aisles so crowded it was difficult to get through between the people.
I only bought the things there I could not find anywhere else and then went to our normal store that was much better.
I had thought today was going to be stormy as well, so I had called off sword practice. When it turned out to be nice after all I thought it too late to try and put sword practice back on. (And, I’m lazy…)
So, my wife and I went to the Decordova sculpture park instead: https://decordova.org
(You need timed tickets and I couldn’t get anything before 3, so I did two loads of laundry, cooked breakfast and cleaned my car for a nice lazy day…)

It’s a nice park and we used to go there several times a year. This was our first time there this year.

It’s a nice place to walk around.

My wife really liked this one.

With things made of glass, this is needed advice.

As my wife likes glass we went next to more.

It was the most crowded I’ve ever seen that museum. But, only the outdoor parts were open and there was a good breeze so we could stay away from folks and feel safe.

My wife is good at maintaining distance.

They still had a place where you could build things to show others.

It’s a nice place with a nice walk around it.

Although there is a bit of hill, it isn’t too bad.

And, there is artwork all over.

My wife really liked this one.

And, this one.

We both thought this one interesting.

I found the construction material on this interesting.

Of course, my wife loves tents.
I guess these are supposed to look like the tops of the tower of the museum.
I was interested in how they were built.

They’ve got artwork along paths in the woods too.

And, benches!

It Wass a very nice day to be out and walking around.

We completed our circuit around on the front lawn.

And, that brought us back to where we started.

A nice day out. Like those of days before…
