This week’s practice

Last night I went out to look for the comet again. I was surprised to find a lot of folks on the top of the hill looking that way. Turns out there was a fire works show across the valley.


I tired to find it again last night, but there was a bank of clouds right were it should be.

The line in the center is a plane, not the comet. It might be down near the bottom, but I’m not 100% sure.

Today we drove off to storage and got the sword for the first time since the Florida show 4 months ago.


Then, off to the practice grounds.


One of our less regular members was there too. But, since we rent the place from her father, it wasn’t about sword fighting…


I’m not saying we were badly out of practice, but we were rusty.


But we did some. And, a lot of drumming.


Sadly it was very hot, in F or C.

On the way home I made a point to say hi to Orson as I haven’t seen him in months!


This guy has the perfect Covid car. Lots of UV light and air circulation…
