The long drive home

I was quite thankful that Casey got up and took Tom to the airport for his 4:30 time. Usually I do it, but this way I got to sleep until 5 or so.
Then, loading the car:


Not everyone was punctual.


We stopped at another Waffle House about 2 hours into the trip.



This did result in my having to make an unscheduled stop…


The traffic wasn’t too bad.


The Peachoid was easy to spot.


We ate dinner at a very slow Wendy’s in North Carolina.


Bought gas in Virginia and then New Jersey.


We dropped Devin off in Connecticut as the sun came up.


Once we reached home it was go to storage to drop stuff off.


Then get food at our favorite place.


Then, home and rest…
