This week’s practice

After the museum, we headed off to sword practice. Although rain was predicted, it wasn’t too bad.


We started by unwrapping some new props my wife had bought.


Casey and his daughter worked on a fight with some strange implements.


There was a lot of work of having her hit her dad with a pan.


I spent a lot of time trying to get Jose to remember the fight we used to do.


I’ve been doing that fight for 20 years now, 18 of them with Tom. So, Tom stepped in to show him better what to do.

Hopefully he’ll get it.

My wife’s working on her fight with Casey.


Not always a serious fight…


I did have to tell two others "not near the landlord’s car!"




Tom and Ian were working on their staff fight.


The two Noah’s are doing a fight together with staves.




Tom is also working on his fight with Casey.


Ian and Devin are doing theirs too.


Tom and I did work with the new props.


We’re trying to remember a fight we haven’t done in several years. Hopefully we’ll get that.


The boy of glass and I are adding to our fight.



I used to be able to lift him off the ground with this, but now he’s too tall.


I took a lot of video so folks would remember what they’re doing. I expect it to be very boring if you aren’t trying to remember a fight.
