Godkids day 6

We started at our favorite comic book store.

Then, we went to the park across the street that has the "Art in the Park" over the summer.

The long term map did not help.

But, the art is there… I’m actually only showing the ones we particularly liked. There are about 30 all together.

And, benches!

Most of us liked this one with the typewriter, poems and desk in plastic.

My wife liked this one.

Ben liked this one best.

But, he also liked this one.

My favorite was the "free speech" one.

We did finally find a map as there was a specific one my wife was after.

This is the one she was after. We saw the artist putting in a piece a few years ago, and my wife gets her info now.

This was Ben’s favorite.

Ben and I both liked the chess set, but the cement bases prevented really playing.

Everyone was impressed with this one.

Sadly, one had been stolen.

Then, back to the car.

Next, over to the art museum for lunch.

Then going through the Worcester Art Museum

Then, off to the meat market for something to cook on the grill at game night.

Then, game night and cooking out.

And, snacks…

Our first game was Captain Sonar. One of my favorites. Not just because my team did well.

Next a Kickstarter game of Yebo’s called Spaceteam.

This one we did not do so well at. But, after several tries got it on the easiest level.

Then on to "Concept". It’s like charades or Pictonary, but you use the game board to give clues.

This took a bit too, but we did get the hang of it.

We got home about midnight, but waited up until 3AM when their parents finished the 500km drive to come get them.
Then, they went the next 100 or so km to where their family wedding was today.
Today my wife and I did little more than rest and laundry…
