Trip to England, day 1

I might repeat photos from previous post or not. It was easier to just go through everything rather than figure out what I had done before or not.
So, apologies if I repeat myself.

I got up at 2:40 in the morning and woke up my wife. She drove me off to the airport.
The international terminal may or may not be name for one of my friends relatives.


I got through security before dawn.


I guess the airport wasn’t up yet as the mens room had loose wires.


Maybe it got better once the sun comes off.


And, soon the plane was off.


We looped around over London to land, so I could see things like the eye before landing.

I hadn’t realized this was very common and I would see planes doing this the whole trip.

I was at the back of the plane, so wasn’t not off early.


There was a long wait for luggage.


I took the Underground into London and then a train out.


The train out part took several tries.


But, I got to lovely Stevenage.

That’s actually a photo from the next morning as I didn’t reach the hotel until almost 11 at night.
