The week was fairly warm, but there is still lots of snow on the ground.

My wife doesn’t like robots. A bit ironic as I design them for a living, but that’s the way it goes.
So, she was not happy when our local supermarket began robot patrols of the aisles to look for spills.
Even I have to admit it looks a bit evil.

They clearly understand this and have put some eyes on the side to try and help. But, it doesn’t help from the front.

Daylight savings time has changed when the sun comes up. Sometimes it’s odd.

The dragon on my boss’ desk seems to be perking up this week.

My wife and I are planning on traveling to NYC some time soon to see a Tolkien exhibit. They have some strange rules for that show.

As spring approaches, groundhogs are coming out and running around.

Wednesday I had to drive into Boston to go to Maryland.

Boston has a lot of bridges and tunnels. Some of the bridges look like tunnels.

Of course it has the only bridge I know of designed for the benefit of the fish swimming under it.

And, more tunnels.

Out of one tunnel and into another.

At the end of the tunnel, is the light, and then the airport.

Of course, the airport has an extra bonus tunnel.

The parking garage isn’t underground, but they do their best to make it like tunnel so everyone feels at home. It was overfull so they had me park in a fire lane. The folks that work there say they do that all the time…

On the flight down the man in front of me pushed his seat back onto my knees as we rolled down the runway, before even one wheel left the ground.

He spent the whole flight like that. It was enough to make the plane fly backwards on my map.

When the plane landed, he stomped my foot getting off trying to make sure he was first.
But, he ended up on the same bus to the rental car place as me.

The hotel is one of those places that has moved past literacy. Was I in room 333, or the train room? It depends on which you can handle.

I suspect the hotel was haunted. There was a big fire pit area outside. There was lots of noise of folks partying there, but when I looked no one was actually there.

They had a weird kind of lighthouse theme going on. It seemed to confuse the birds as when the light passed them, they chipped in the middle of the night, but only for as long as the light was on them.

Of course, when the morning came, they stopped chirping all together.

As soon as the factory my coworker and I was visiting was open, we were there inspecting their construction of our parts.

They aren’t in the nicest of neighborhoods. But, they make the parts.

We were there for 5 hours. A customer was supposed to send me his information so I could make sure what we were having made matched. But, he never sent it, so we went to the airport and asked for an earlier flight home.

The woman at the ticket counter was very helpful. Once she looked at my ID she started laughing as she is one day younger than me, and thought that funny.
But, she got us on the plane 4 hours before scheduled.

So, we got to Boston in the 5PM range instead of the 9PM range.

Of course, that meant rush hour, but I still got home more than an hour before my original flight was going to take off.

It looks like the doves may be nesting in our window box again. We’ll see.

Saturday night we visited my aunt and her husband at the retirement home.

They were having a show there too, so we went to that.

My aunt was excited to see it. Her husband less so.

It was better than my wife and I feared, but my wife’s husband didn’t like it.

My aunt liked it, and that’s what matters to me.
